Joël Robuchon & Christophe Cussac

Joël Robuchon was named Master Chef at the Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo in January 2004. One of France’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs, Robuchon is responsible for the overall direction of the hotel’s epicurean restaurant of the same name, Joël Robuchon Monte-Carlo, which opened at the end of July 2004.

Having selected the restaurant’s two Michelin-star executive chef, Christophe Cussac, a protégé of Robuchon, with vast experience preparing Mediterranean cuisine, the two collaborate to create a menu that boasts classic dishes blended with contemporary flavours and Mediterranean styles.

Robuchon’s influence is also extended to the hotel’s healthy dining Spa restaurant and bar as well as banquet facilities, room service and the hotel bars where a selection of culinary courses are available. His inspiration for Restaurant Joël Robuchon Monte-Carlo is to craft a comfortably stylish dining venue that is unrivalled in the Principality and that invites patrons to return time and again. To achieve such an effect, Robuchon has created an open kitchen that is intended to illuminate guests’ dining experience as well as an on-site bakery that ensures only the freshest breads and pastries are being served.
